The Team

LIANA GREENE MA BCBA

Liana has been in the field for the past six years. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a degree in Intensive Psychology. During her time at UCSC, Liana interned at an alternative high school serving neurodiverse students, where she saw the lack of resources and support available for those individuals. This experience led her to pursue working in the field. She then went on to earn her Master’s in Behavior Analysis. Liana believes in an individual-centered approach, focusing on building strong, trusting relationships with her clients. She is dedicated to creating supportive communities that enrich the lives of both clients and their families. In her free time, Liana loves DIY crafting and ceramics as well as traveling.

CHARLOTTE GIBSON MS BCBA

Charlotte has been in the clinical field since 2013.  Charlotte received in her Masters in Developmental Pyschopathology from Durham University in the United Kingdom. Charlotte went on to pursue a BCBA certificate with over 8 years of ABA experience. Through these years of various experience of working in schools, individual clients, group homes, and social skills, Charlotte noticed a lack of individualized services including navigating complicated systems to request additional support, lack of awareness and support within schools, a tiered ABA intervention that lead to less than optimal results, along with implementing a neurotypical schedule to teaching social skills. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature, creating various art mediums, hanging out with my pets.

Our Mission

Social Oasis is created by Charlotte Gibson and Liana Greene, two Behavior Analysts that are passionate about creating an inclusive creative social space for anyone to join. In their free time, Liana and Charlotte enjoy various art mediums such as painting, sewing, ceramics along with learning artistic skills.

We believe that all people, neurorodivergent or neurotypical deserve a safe community to share ideas, build meaningful relationships in conjunction with life skills building. Charlotte and Liana have worked in the field of ABA for the past 8 years and are both passionate about community building, social skills, and person centered treatment. Through our ABA experience and connecting with clients and parents, we noticed a gap in inclusivity in extra-curricular activities for neurodivergent individuals along with financial accessibility to programs that target social skills and functional life skills. Liana and Charlotte both believe that skill building such as increasing social skills should be fun and be synthesized with personal curiosities and interests. At Social Oasis, we strive to make skill building as fun and naturalistic as possible, alongside other individuals that have similar interests.
